ELECTROLYSIS
Electrolysis is a practical option for men and women wishing to permanently remove unwanted hair. It is effective for all hair colors and types. Using modern technology, a minute amount of electricity is gently applied to the base of the hair follicle. This process destroys the hair growth tissue. Therefore, the regenerative ability of the hair follicle is permanantly eliminated. Each hair follicle accompanying an unwanted hair must be individually treated therefore multiple sessions are required. The number of treatments necessary varies with each client.

LASER HAIR REDUCTION*
When darker, coarser hair appears in places which may make you uncomfortable - like on your face, neck, abdomen, breasts, legs or underarms in women or on the shoulders, chest and back in men, it may be time to consider hair reduction with laser. The laser produces a beam of highly concentrated light. The light emitted is well absorbed by the pigment located in the hair follicles. During the procedure, the laser pulses for a fraction of a second, long enough to heat up the hair and significantly impede the follicle's ability to re-grow. Most people tolerate the procedure well, but because some areas of the body are more sensitive than others, topical anesthesia can be an option.
The appearance of the treated area immediately following the procedure will vary depending on the extent of the procedure and skin type. Side effects may include redness and swelling around the hair follicle, which are, in fact, desired as it indicates that the follicle has responded to the treatment. Most people return to normal activity right away.
Usually six sessions provide a positive clinical result.
